In 2011, Clint’s sporting dream came true when he was offered the chance to be involved in the America’s Cup World Series. His job as skipper of the camera boat would take him all over the world, including the America’s Cup final in San Francisco in 2013. Fast-forward to March 2014, when Clint received yet another exciting offer: the opportunity to run a small but growing New Zealand marine company. In the four years since, Clint has taken the team from three to 22 people, generating waves around Propspeed, an industry-leading foul-release coating, in the process.

Clint feels that he has the two best jobs in the world. He’ll share the story behind both and how continuing to pursue them has, for him, created the “perfect storm” of business and lifelong passions. Still actively involved in the sporting arena, Clint was part of the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics, the 35th America’s Cup in Bermuda and will drive the camera boat in the 36th America’s Cup, held in Auckland in 2021.
