Gillian is an Australian naval architect, engineering manager, project manager and surveyor who has built her career over the last 23 years locally and internationally in the superyacht industry.

Through her company Pacific Marine Design, she has worked for owners, European naval architecture companies and various shipyards on projects across several countries, and in Australia.

Most recently, Gillian has spent the last 5 years being an integral part of the management team within the Feadship group of companies in The Netherlands. During this time, she was involved in the design and engineering phases of numerous projects. Additionally, her management and engineering expertise was leaned upon to further develop the project management and engineering processes, with time spent in both De Voogt Naval Architects and Royal van Lent Shipyard

Prior to this she also spent 5 years working with Oceanco in The Netherlands, running the engineering of the build of the multi-award winning 110m Jubilee (now Kaos). In between times, Gillian has been an AMSA surveyor and Marshall Islands surveyor.

Gillian is a passionate advocate of researching and implementing sustainable solutions in the superyacht and marine industry.
