Rivergate Marina & Shipyard
Rivergate is one of Queensland’s premier Superyacht Refit and Project Management destinations. Boat repairs and marine services, refueling and all weather enclosed refit facilities are available at Rivergate in Brisbane’s TradeCoast precinct popular with South Pacific mariners and superyacht crews.
Rivergate Marina & Shipyard was voted in the Top 3 Australian Marinas by Boat International USA (now Show Boats) and the only Australian Shipyard in the Top 3 Superyacht Refit Destinations in the world by the Crew Report (Issue 32). Located on the Brisbane River, the marina is a certified Clean Marina and received 100% in the 2010 audit.
Situated at Latitude 27°26.67’S, Longitude 153°06.30’E, Rivergate is 3 nautical miles from the city centre and 6 from the river mouth. As an Official Custom and Quarantine clearance point, the marina is 5 days steaming from the South Pacific; 4 days from the Whitsunday Island and Great Barrier Reef; and 3 days from Sydney. Once at the marina, it is only minutes from Domestic and Brisbane International Airport terminals, private jet facilities and helipads. For those who enjoy weekend cruising, Moreton Bay National Marine Park is on the door-step.
Rivergate Marina and Shipyard is a completely secure facility monitored by CCTV, electronically controlled gates and night patrols.
Rivergate can offer their clients mooring in 105 berths and deep water access for vessels to 80 metres. The high speed fuel pumps are open 7 days serving diesel, unleaded and premium unleaded as well as sewerage pump out and fresh water. The onsite Dockmaster and Concierge can assist with any provisioning, accommodation or transport enquiries. A specialist directory composed select suppliers which details Brisbane amenities, preferred city nightclubs, friendly and secure bars and pubs, fine dining restaurants, a range of prescreened hotels and responsive transport suppliers.
The adjacent shipyard comprises of 12,000sqm hardstand, 75 and 300 tonne travelifts and 320 approved contractors in over 20 trades. Rivergate is a great locations for boats of all shapes and sizes to complete refits, maintenance work and repairs on a pristine shipyard and marina complex. The dedicated Project Management team can assist with all works whilst crew enjoys the air-conditioned lounge.
Services available within the shipyard include superyacht painters and finishers, marine electricians, electrical engineers, generators and power control systems, diesel marine engines, fine timber and cabinetmaking, composite material repair, underwater LED lighting, marine carpeting and fabrics.
